Brand Review: Ogee

I've been using Ogee products for a while now, and I'm loving them. The brand has 4 organic products available offering cleansing wipes, face serum, jojoba oil and lip balm. Three of them became part of my everyday skincare routine, and I'm going to review them in this post. I do have Jojoba Restore Face Oil* (link), but I haven't used it yet, and I'm not sure if I will because of my relationship with oils.

Seeds of Youth Serum* (link) is the product that left the best impression on me. This cloudy serum has a light texture, but it's not watery. It acts as a liquid-y moisturizer, so during the warm season I use it as my main moisturizer. I apply a serum on clean skin and then I apply this serum from Ogee. It would be too light during cold weather for me, but in the summertime it gives enough moisture and it's not too heavy. The serum feels comfortable on the skin, applies and sinks in well. It isn't sticky and doesn't irritate the skin. My skin feels plump, hydrated and very soft afterwards.

Ogee has an interesting lip balm that is called Sculpted Lip Oil* (link). By hearing the name, one would imagine it would be liquid, but it has a hard form (just like a regular lip balm). The lip balm holds its shape, but it's not too hard and makes it very comfortable to apply to the lips. It has a mild minty smell/flavor, which doesn't linger and doesn't bother me. While the balm feels light on the lips, it gives continuous moisture for a while. The lips are left soft and hydrated.

Daily Facial Cleansing Cloths* (link) are good, but not the best I've tried. They are tough and don't tear/wear easily as they are of a little bit stretchy material. These facial wipes are moist, but I wish they were more wet as they seem to lack "power" to melt the makeup. I never use makeup removing wipes as my main cleansing method, so these work fine, but not perfectly. They seem to be a little too dry to do a good job. However, Ogee face wipes remove both eye and face makeup. Since I wash my face with a cleanser afterwards, I'm ok with what they do, but if you use wipes as your only face cleanser, you might want to try something else. I've been also using these wipes to clean my hands when applying makeup and they are great for that!
