Simple Oral Care For Everyday + Discount Code

When it comes to beauty most of us don't think about mouth care as part of it. However, beauty is much more than just makeup and skincare. Healthy mouth gives us confidence not just to smile broadly, but also to approach people and talk without worrying about fresh breath. Once you make it into a habit, it's really easy to stick to teeth cleaning routine.

Some people brush teeth before breakfast, some do it afterwards, but for me it's the first thing I do after waking up. I usually do it quickly, don't even use a mouthwash, and use the most neutral-flavored toothpaste that I can find as I hate the taste of coffee after minty toothpaste. Currently I'm using Dr. Brite Whitening Toothpaste* (link). It has a very mild flavor, which is perfect for my mornings or for whenever when I know I'll be drinking/eating soon. This toothpaste leaves teeth clean and fresh, but since it doesn't leave the usual strong minty aftertaste, some people might need time to get used to that. It's not the first toothpaste of this kind that I use, but I've never had a problem (as long as my teeth feel clean, I'm good to go). Like I mentioned earlier, I don't even use a mouthwash or a floss - it's just a very quick brushing. After I have my coffee and breakfast, that's when I do a more serious routine that includes toothpaste, mouthwash and dental floss. The mouthwash that I use during the day is also from Dr. Brite* (link). It tastes a bit more minty that toothpaste, but still not too strong. Both of these products have natural and organic ingredients, are vegan and gluten free, so not only you're taking care of your mouth, but also benefiting from these clean products. This duo is what I use in the mornings and during the day though sometimes I use them at night too.

I mentioned that I use dental floss in my mouth care routine too, and the one I'm hooked on now is from Cocofloss* (link). I first saw it in some magazine (Real Simple maybe), and needed it right away. Besides mint flavor this floss comes in such unexpected flavors as strawberry, orange and coconut. I'm using Delicious Mint and Fresh Coconuts right now, but I can't wait to get my hands on other flavors too. I love that packaging is see through and even has days numbered on it (60 days, 30 days, 2 weeks), so you never run out of floss unexpectedly. Also, it's very sleek making it easy to carry it in a bag/makeup case (I usually carry single use toothbrush and floss with me all the time). The floss is gentle (it's infused with wax and coconut oil) and cleans well without hurting gums or getting stuck between teeth.

For my night time regime I use a different duo. Sometimes when I want a stronger minty breath I use this toothpaste during the day as well. I came across Hello Extra Whitening Toothpaste (link) while shopping, and even though I didn't need a new toothpaste, I was sucked in by the packaging. It tastes just like white Tic Tac mints. It cleans teeth well, leaves fresh breath, but if my teeth are more sensitive, it does irritate them once in a while. I pair this toothpaste with my all time favorite mouthwash from The Natural Dentist (link). The flavor is called Peppermint Twist, but I can also taste apple sourness (I know I know, this sounds weird), which I love. I've been using this rinse for over 5 years, and the only complaint I have is that I have to clean the cap and bottom of the bottle after each use or else the liquid runs down the bottle and makes a mess on the bathroom counter.

I already talked about my favorite dental floss that I use morning, night, and during the day (it's a life saver when eating out). The other product is Dr. Brite Brite & Fresh Mouth Spray* (link). It's been a while since the last time I used refreshing mouth sprays as they either are burning strong, or taste yucky. I was hesitant to try out this one, because I didn't want any bad experience, but this mouth spray surprised me. It has a mild minty taste, which is not strong at all, and actually leaves my mouth feeling as if I've just brushed my teeth. Probably it's more in my head, but I prefer brushing my teeth rather than using a spray for fresh breath, however, when on a go and you want to make sure you have fresh breath, this spray is amazing. It's not a big bottle, but I wish it was even smaller so it would be convenient to carry it with me no matter if I have a smaller or bigger handbag.
