April Empties: Part 1

It's that time of the month again! I wasn't sure if I'll have 2 parts for April empties, but it's the middle of the month and my empties' bag is full, so I need to write this post.

-Acure Straightening Shampoo and Conditioner: I love this pair! I used them before, and liked so much that I had to repurchase. My hair is very fine and super straight (I always get asked if I straighten it, but it's all natural), so I can't comment on how well the shampoo and conditioner do that. However, the way my hair feels and looks after using the duo is what makes me wanna buy them again and again. The only con is that both products are on the thinner side, so it's easy to squeeze out more than you'd like.
-Philip Martin's 24 Everyday Shampoo and Philip Martin's Babassu Rinse Conditioner: I bought a few hair products from the brand, and got these samples with my order. I think I found my new favorite hair care line! The smell was wonderful, and the effect AMAZING!!! What surprised me most was that right after washing my hair I could feel a difference - my hair was super soft. I was curious to see how the shampoo and conditioner worked by themselves, so I didn't put any other styling/detangling/conditioning products. My hair was easy to comb even while damp, and it dreid beautifully. The hair looked great for 3 days. Usually I was my hair every 2 days, but I'm not always satisfied with my hair on the second day. Even if it looks good and I can wear it down, I don't feel fresh or amazing, and with Philip Martin's products I felt great all 3 days. Both of these go into my wishlist for full size items.

-Promise Organic Coconut Facial Wipes: It's probably my 3rd or 4th pack of these wipes, and I continue to repurchase them. The price is right, the ingredients are good, and they remove all my makeup. I can only tell nice things about these towelettes.
-Glamglow Gravitymud Firming Treatment: This sample was enough for 1 use. I liked it, but whatever I tried from Glamglow is nothing I'd purchase full size. I like peel off masks, and this was quite nice, but nothing magical. Being a Tin Man was probably the best part of it.
-Suki Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser: I love this product, and recommended it to a million people over the years. The price is quite high, but the product lasts ages. I think this was my 3rd container. While the scrub is great, I didn't use it too often this time, and the product got hard inside. I thinned it out with oils, and used up as a body scrub.

-Herban Cowboy Deodorant: I didn't finish it... I tried my best, but just couldn't force myself anymore. The protection is ok, but I have a deodorant that I love, so this one was just sitting on the counter without use. I wasn't crazy about the fragrance as well, so not sure I'd recommend it to anyone.
-Egyptian Magic All Purpose Cream: I've had samples of this before, and I like it. It's a nice vaseline alternative. However, these are so many brands that can offer just as good products for a lower price, so not sure if Egyptian Magic is worth the price.
-Whole Foods 365 Hand Cream: I keep using these creams since they came out a couple years ago. I love the way they smell, the convenient size, the great moisturizing they give, and the price is right. If you can get your hands on these, do it!

-Samples of Clean Blonde Rose and Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh: I'm not good describing perfumes, so I will only tell that I didn't like Clean at all (it just wasn't me). I was never into Daisy line, but this one is the one I'd consider to purchase full size.
-Buxom Full-On Lipstick in San Francisco: I got this as a sample with purchase, and loved it enough to get 2 other colors in full size. I love using these with lip gloss on top. However, this one I have to get rid of because it doesn't smell/taste right anymore. I do recommend these to everyone.
-Badger Lip Balm: I just can't use it... The cocoa butter taste is too overpowering, and bugs me. I feel bad as Badger has many great products, but this one is just not for me.
